Fantastic!!!

I cant sleep without it anymore. Relaxing, beautiful and worth it. Love it!

Great app!

The original Buddha Machine will all 18 loops! Must have!

True to the Name

This is the real thing for anyone who has loved the physical Buddha Machines. As the physical machines can be a bit cheap in construction, the software version gives noticeably better sound. I am hoping for more loops down the line, but Im still very happy with it.

Ouch on the Ears!!!!!!!

Beautifully useless indeed!!!! I am sure they are laughing all the way to the bank if you are silly enough as I was to purchase it. This application plays a number of electronically generated sounds that can only be called annoying at best! As a 20+ yr Buddhist practitioner, I thought that this would be a nice addition to my iphone, providing calming sounds in the middle of a busy day. The sounds produced are similar to feedback on a PA system over a speaker with a bad connection. Yes, it might be nicer that listening to your Ex on the phone, but little more than that. This really should be a free app! Save you money and buy something useful. There are many Buddhist, and New Age CDs out there that are wonderful for the beginner that can bring some calm to your day!

Minimalist app

Let sound be your companion, and expect no more...

Adore it!

One thing missing from the hardware version I would have liked to have seen is the pitch/speed dial, other than that, this things is amazing, the fact I can have 1.0 and 2.0 with me at the same time in the same device is great.

SCAM

Please—for the price charged, at least offer 128k loops, and for christs sake, blend the loops together. People: DO NOT waste your $4 on this. A latte at Starbucks is better spent. A novel idea this is, but instead this is nothing more than scamming "artists" laughing all the way to the bank. Remember the developer names on this "app", and buy NOTHING from them again. Such a great opportunity to design something great—instead, GARBAGE.

Power switch?

I love the Buddha Machine app the same way I love the original device. One question: How the hell do you turn it off? Nothing labelled, no instructions available, and even if you put your phone into standby the thing keeps going. Not cool and not good for ones peace of mind.

For the longest time...

I always wanted a Buddha Machine. From the get go when it first came out and how I heard that you can tinker with this sound box, it made me wanna get it. However this App is missing that, there is no pitch control like the physical boxes, so that sort of takes away from the experience. Although it sorta gives back by including the sounds and colors of the first and second gen boxes. So I was somewhat satisfied and caught off guard by this App. I also took advantage of the links provided and read in more about the B/M, through there I was also able to purchase the first, second and third gen boxes. By the end of the year FM3 will be coming out with a ceramic edition. All in all, for $1 I cant complain.

Nice but....

Ok I like the sounds and the colors and the whole minimalist vibe but you still have to make an app usable. Yes there is a way to turn it off or even pause it --Im using a gen4 iPod -- press the home button twice then scroll the list of apps leftwards and you should see the pink icon and some audio controls. But the clowns wont tell you this--it is meant to test your patience and hence provide a spiritual practice. Mansard. Or whatever.

Hypnotic

Mellow. Useless. Good sound. Well worth the money.

Wheres the pitch control?

Wouldnt have bought it if I knew that vital feature was missing.

Love It

Great app. Very soothing. Sorely needed here! The Buddha approves.

Please note: Since the implementation of multi-tasking in iOS4, apps no longer "quit" when you press the home button. They simply go into the background. To stop audio playback from the Buddha Machine app, you must press the home button twice. Then find and hold down the app in the list of background apps. touch the small "-" which appears above the app to shut it down. Dont worry! this will not delete the app from your device. it simply stops the audio.

back ground play

バックグラウンドで再生出来たら最高です。
